Director of Operations

Steel Parsons is a seasoned aviation professional with a remarkable career spanning 30 years of dedicated service in the United States Army. A retired Army Aviator, Steel spent an impressive 23 years assigned to the prestigious 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, where he served as the Regiment Standardization Officer and MH-60 Standardization Instructor Pilot, earning the designation of Instrument Flight Examiner. His illustrious military career culminated in retirement as Chief Warrant Officer 5 (CW5), a testament to his leadership and expertise.

Steel’s legacy includes multiple combat operations from 1987 to 2005, showcasing his commitment to excellence and the highest standards in military aviation. Post-retirement, his skills found new avenues as he embarked on a contracting career, flying for the Department of State in Iraq (2006-2009), the Department of Defense in Afghanistan (2009-2014), and the Department of Defense in Africa (2015-2021). In 2022-2023, Steel supported Department of Defense Jump training in CONUS, and from March to December 2023, he engaged in UPS cargo operations in New York and Vermont.

With an impressive aviation portfolio, Steel holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating for Airplane and Multi-Engine Land, along with Rotorcraft-Helicopter. His qualifications also include a Commercial rating for Airplane Single-Engine Land, amassing an outstanding 13,000+ hours of flight time. His commitment to continuous learning is evident through his academic achievements, holding a Master’s of Science in Management of Technology, a Bachelor of Professional Aeronautics, and an Associate in Professional Aeronautics.

Steel has undergone various specialized courses throughout his career, including the Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, Instrument Flight Examiner Course, UH-60 Instructor Pilot Course, Warrant Officer Senior Course, Warrant Officer Advance Course, UH-1H Instructor Pilot Course, and the Warrant Officer Initial Entry Rotary Wing Flight School.

In 2024, Steel Parsons took on the role of Director of Operations at Revv Aviation, bringing his wealth of experience and leadership to the organization. His diverse background, coupled with a passion for aviation, positions him as a key contributor to Revv’s success and growth in the industry
